Newest Bible Guy weighs in
By Jacob Garcia

My name is Jacob Garcia and I am privileged to be a part of the People of Truth Christian movement. This article is one of many I hope to write for the Bible Guys newsletter. My recent inauguration into this admirable congregation has been a blessing for both me and my family. Aside from the immense love and wisdom that is practiced in this church, there are many other aspects that really display the eagerness and desire to bring the good news out to those who will receive it.

One of the many benefits of being a part of this church are some very incisive car decals. These portable, mobile messages have brought me a lot of attention lately. I find that driving on the highway seems like a whole new experience. When I pull up next to other commuters, I catch them thoroughly and carefully reading what is written. As I walk to the parking lot from my workplace bystanders are, to my surprise, taking time out to gaze upon the scroll-like background with the writing of the scriptures that quote the Bible in Nahum 2:1-4 which says, "In the day of His preparation, the chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broadways."

This scripture confirms that "Cars are a sign of the soon coming of Jesus", which is also written on my car. I believe that this is just one way that God’s word can be brought to people who have eyes to see. As Jesus said in Matthew 13:16, "But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear." So I am thrilled to have found a new way to give glory and honor to God. I just never knew that a 4-wheel-drive could be so spiritually uplifting. Go figure!
