Greetings in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ! The apostle Peter declared that there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, neither is there salvation in any other.

Jesus, Himself, said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." He did not say that He was "a way" or "a better way," He said He was the one and only way to God. Those promoting the doctrine they call "tolerance" or "interfaith" would take exception to Jesus' words here. Nevertheless, it is by the mercies and love of God that He sent His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes on Him should not perish, but live for all eternity. Praise His holy name!

Pope John Paul II has called for a day of interfaith prayer January 24th of this year, but is it God's will that we align ourselves with the other world religions? "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3) Pastor Eldon McNabb deals with that question in this month's article, "Is Religious Tolerance Biblical?"

Pastor McNabb and his wife, Zena, recently visited family and friends in Tennessee and Oklahoma. We were very pleased with their report, finding our loved ones well. Not only so, but a number of our friends and relatives have given their lives to Christ and are now serving Him! We rejoice with the angels for our new brothers and sisters in the Lord.

We continue to pray that the Spirit of the Lord will draw others to our loving Father. God is not willing that any should perish, and with each day the Lord's return grows nearer. The mercy of our Lord is infinite - but our time is finite. Dear friend, if you have not yet committed your heart to Him, do so now. Just confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
