The News, the Real News

By C. Eldon McNabb

"WASHINGTON - April 25, 2004 - Despite worries about high oil prices and Middle East unrest, the world's major industrial countries expressed optimism about the global economy yesterday, contending the world was poised for strong growth this year and next.

"However, in an effort to deal with the rising violence, the Group of Seven major industrial countries pledged economic support to rebuild the war-torn economies of Iraq and Afghanistan and the Palestinian areas of the West Bank and Gaza. The G-7 nations - the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Canada - struck an upbeat tone in a joint communique issued as part of a weekend of financial discussions centered around the Spring meetings of the 184-nation International Monetary Fund and the World Bank."

The Group of Seven or G-7 is a coalition of the major industrial democracies: the original G6, which met the first time in 1975, became the G-7 in 1976 with the addition of Canada.

The real news, concerning this gathering, is that the Fourth Beast in Daniel 7, with its seven heads, and ten horns is alive and well. For many years now, and notably since the 1960s and 1970s, working together as part of the United Nations, there has been what is called the G-7 and the G-10 (the G-7 being seven of the G-10.) In the 1990s, their was an effort made to include Russia, and make the G-7 into the G-8, but the function of the G-7 is different from that of the G-8, and the function of the G-10 is different from either of them in session. There are now eleven countries in the G-10, since Switzerland joined the group in 1984, but the "ten" refers to the members of the Group who constitute the members of the International Monetary Fund.

The earliest news clipping about the G-10 which I have in my files, is an article from 1966. Here is a partial quote, "New Money Proposed For World: Washington, Jan 29, (UPI). - The United States will propose a new kind of world money at a Paris meeting next week... U.S. negotiators will offer the proposal at the monthly meeting of the "group of 10" Western industrial nations. ... The world money would differ from U.S. Dollars, British pounds, French francs or other national currencies in that the man in the street and even international traders and bankers would never see it."

I have another clipping from 1971, which ties together the U.N., with its seven heads and ten horns, with the woman in the prophecy in Revelation 17. I quote, "ROME (AP), Nov. 28, 1971. -; John B, Connally, U.S. Treasury Secretary, is flying in for talks with finance ministers from the rest of the world's richest nations. The discussions would have striking effect on the world bankers and the housewife alike. ... At the Monday meeting, finance and trade technicians of the "Group of 10," the 10 wealthiest non-Communist nations in the world, will lay the groundwork for a meeting of finance ministers and central bankers Tuesday and Wednesday." The article named the G-10, at that time, to be France, West Germany, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Japan, Sweden, the United States and Britain. Now, Canada has replaced Luxembourg, West Germany is simply Germany, and Holland is referred to as Netherlands.

All of this should draw our attention back to the Papal visit of John Paul VI to the U.N., in 1965. That notable event was indeed the moment when the Woman ventured to sit upon that scarlet colored beast which is called the U.N., with its seven heads and ten horns. When the Pope of Rome made that trip, the Holy Spirit moved upon me and I prophesied to my congregation in Pittsburg, PA, that very soon, ten nations of the U.N. would rise to prominence in the fulfillment of those ten horns. As that prophecy in Rev. 17 continues, it declares that those ten horns "which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast - make war with the Lamb. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire."

I do not know exactly when the "one hour" begins, but the leaders of the G-10 countries began to exercise their increased powers from about 1968 to 1971, when international "Conventions" replaced the making of treaties; by the which the U.S. presidents make far reaching decisions which Congress has no power at all to challenge; such as the giving away, to the U.N., millions of square miles of the precious "heritage sites" of this great land. They began to give away our national forests as early as 1968.

We know that the G-10 existed in January, 1966, and was well developed by November, 1971, when they had their meeting in Rome. We also know that the term "one hour" cannot be sixty minutes. There are prophesies which these nations must fulfill which will, of necessity, take a much longer period of time than that. Peter showed us how to calculate the fulfillment of that "hour" when he said, "Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." You might insist that his statement has another meaning. I acknowledge that it does. But in relationship to Revelation 17, it means one twenty-fourth of a thousand years, which is almost forty-two years.

If you were to count that hour from the Rome summit of 1971, their one-hour rule would end in about 2012, just 8 years from now. If we went back to 1968 to begin to count, we are even closer than that.

So, what's the real news? We need not wait for the European Union to arise; the Great Beast of Revelation and Daniel, for that Beast has been present with us since 1946: The United Nations. It is the G-10 of the U.N. which shall make war with the saints of the Most High, and it is the U.N. that will crumble from before the ministry of the Kingdom of God. I know that most of us have been taught that it is not possible to know the timing of events immediately preceding the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. But have not we all read the words of Paul, in Hebrews 10:22-25? He said, "Let us draw near with a true heard in the full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water (that is the washing of water by the word). Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." AMEN!!
