Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.? We begin another calendar year with great expectations for the advancement of the work of God.? We are witnessing a great move of God among His people to bring us into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of His Son.

The Lord has commanded us to ?wake up the mighty men,? and contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.? ?For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ? (Jude 1:2,3).? From those days, we have seen the leaders of the people of God introduce doctrines and practices borrowed from the idolatrous religions of the world.? This wicked mixture brought about the period we know as the dark ages.

Even as the sky begins to glow before the break of dawn, the light of the truth of God?s word began to shine a little with Martin Luther at the Reformation.? The light grew brighter as God revealed the doctrine of the Sanctification, the second work of grace, to Evangelical Christians particularly by the ministry of John and Charles Wesley.? Brighter still was the Christian skyline when God poured out His Spirit in a tremendous way in1896 on a group of Sanctified Christians under the leadership of R. G. Spurling and W. F. Bryant, beginning what became the modern Pentecostal movement.? Day finally dawned in 1903, when God revealed to Ambrose Jessup Tomlinson the revelation of the Church of God.

Through all of this, however, God?s people remained tainted with various customs and beliefs that were influenced by pagan traditions.? Just as the Jews which came out of Babylon were unable to speak Hebrew, so also has the true usage of the Word of God been lost to Christianity.

The natural language of Hebrew has experienced a revival, after more than 2,000 serving as a ceremonial language something akin to Latin or Old Slavonic, and is now a common tongue. Likewise, God is going to bring a revival of the Pure Language of His word among His people, that in all things we may be a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned? (Titus 2:7).
