Praise God for His many blessings! So much is happening, and we are thankful to God for all that He has done for us.

We had another marvelous celebration of the Feast of Ingathering on September 23-26. God blessed with His word and His Spirit. We were blessed to be able to fellowship with some of the people from Slavic Pentecostal Church. Pastor Peter Novik brought a wonderful message about loving God with all you heart, mind, soul and strength.

Their youth choir sang songs in Russian and English. I have spent some time with them, and I am touched by their zeal for God and their desire to live for Him and please Him. God bless them and their church. We hope to share more often with them in Spirit and in truth.

I would like to thank God also for our newest friends: the congregation of Iglesia Defensores de la Fe (Defenders of the Faith Church), in Holyoke, MA. At the beginning of this month, I stopped on Main Street when I saw José Díaz, who used to visit our services about ten years ago, on my way home after Sunday morning worship. He introduced me to his pastor, Rev. Adalberto Sánchez. Since then, I have spent some wonderful time with him in the word and in worship. Our congregations have begun to fellowship with each other, and it has been a great mutual blessing.

Praise be to the Almighty that we can get together with His children and worship Him without any incumberances. As we approach the return of our Master, we need to gather together more than ever.

Pastor Sánchez has been a real blessing to me personally. I give God all the glory, for truly, I have been encouraged by the unity of fellowship that we have shared, and the many hours and services of which Rev. Sánchez and I have partaken. Not only so, but I am seeing a revival happening among our youth, as they meet with the young people from the Defenders. May God richly bless us as we worship and serve Him together.

It is with a heavy heart that I bring you news of the passing of my grandmother, Sis. Edith McNabb, at 87. I am thankful to God that she was able to spend many of her final days here with us, for it was good to see her and be with her. Her last year was very sorrowful, having lost her husband of nearly 70 years, two sons and a son-in-law. May the Lord comfort everyone in their loss of this wonderful woman, whose love of God, and service to Him remained constant...unwavering.

God promised in His word that when Jesus returns with glory, the dead shall rise and we will be changed, and be reunited with our loved ones that sleep in Christ. That is our Blessed Hope.
